In general, a lot of people snore. The usual cause of which is airway or nasal blockage. It is also commonly observed that men snore more than women, which can be caused by alcohol consumption, obesity, medications or simply the person’s unique anatomy. Snoring can also be observed on women who are on the heavier side. There is also a small percentage of children who snore.
People now are taking snoring seriously. Heavy snorers have greater risks of succumbing to stroke than those who don’t since they have higher tendency in having high blood pressure or heart disease. Consulting a physician is highly advisable for people who are like this. If your bed partner snores, you can either suffer with it, change your sleeping accomodation or let the snorer stop every time he snores by waking him or her up. This may create some problems however.
There are available sleeping aids to help you with this situation. There’s the sleeping mark, the ear pillows, and the in-ear white noise generators. If you are into sounds or music to help you sleep, you can use the sound therapy pillow with stereo speakers inside.
You can also try combinations of the different products that will work best for you. Another thing is the anti-snoring spray. It works by putting oil to the throat for it not to create a sound. You can also find natural snoring sprays that claim to tone the throat muscles therefore improving the respiration which can eventually lead to prevention of snoring.
Ear plugs for snoring may present a viable solution to this concern. You may still be able to hear sounds even when the ear plugs are on since the bones in your head can still produce the sound in the inner ear. But the best advantage you can get from earplugs is reduced sound level. You can still hear sounds but it is just like the normal voice even when there’s heavy snoring.
High-tech ear plugs for snoring can cost a lot but they can carry with them many advantages too. It can reduce the volume of snore heard and produces white sound that mask the remaining noise at the same time. You can then sleep comfortably even if your partner is a heavy snorer.
